When did you realize you wanted to become an actress?

“At the age of 5, while attending a summer fine arts camp, I was cast as the lead of Max, in Where the Wild things Are. This sparked my initial interest in acting.”

What is your favorite style of dance and how long have you been dancing!

” I have been dancing since the age of 2 or 3. Although I have a strong background in lyrics and ballroom, hip hop is my favorite.”

How did you start the LA Kids Bunch?

“When I moved to LA, 2 years ago,  a very close friend and I shared a small group of positive, upbeat friends. We began the group with roughly 20 industry kids/parents and added based on that core group and their referrals. The group is now comprised of over 100 industry kids”.

What is your main goal for the program?

“To provide an outlet for kids and parents to just enjoy each other, outside of the industry world, in a positive and supporting environment. COVID has put a limit on activities but we usually hold huge events, quite often. It gives us a chance to just be kids and I have never heard anyone talk about projects they are on or how much they have worked. We just want to be friends and have fun.”

Do you have any advice for any young actresses looking to break into the business?

“Definitely realize that it is extremely hard work and the percentage of kids landing a huge role is very small. There are MANY talented kids in this industry and thousands of submissions for each part. With this in mind, enter the industry because YOU TRULY love to act and NOT because you want to be a star. Be sure to seek out great management and coaches who may lead you to an agency that will work best for what you are hoping to achieve”.

What is your favorite role or performance youhave done up till now?

“This is a tough question as there are a few that I have really loved. The most special role for me was a lead in a public service video surrounding an anti-bullying message. It shared the true story of an adult male dancer who was still suffering with the trauma of childhood bullying. I played a role of support, encouragement and love, throughout his years. It was one of my very first projects but will always hold a special place in my heart as I was cast in the part shortly after almost losing my life, at the age of 5, in a tra in a traumatic incident in which I was choked by 2 girls while on a school field trip. I often participate in anti-bullying campaigns and charities. I also use my social media platform to assist in this messaging, as well. A couple weeks ago, I was conducting a LIVE roundtable chat, on Instagram, surrounding the topic of bullying. I began to cry and become quite emotional as I told my story. It truly does impact an individual for a very long time. I feel so sad for anyone who is or who has had to suffer as a victim of bullying.

Do you have anything exciting and new you would like to share?

“I have a few exciting things “pending”, due to COVID. Thus, I am not able to share at this time as my fingers are still crossed on those. I am also involved in a very cool project that is launching soon. As soon as I am able to share that news, I will!! I can’t wait!!
