Microsoft plans to acquire Tik Tok as early as September 15th

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has a conversation with President Trump this weekend regarding the goal of an acquisition of Tik Tok from the China-based ByteDance company.

As a part of the deal, Microsoft would insure any data that is in China would be transferred to the U.S..

Tik Tok says they currently have over 1,500 employees in the United States alone.
