How did you get started doing music?
I’ve been writing songs and singing as long as I can remember. I started pursuing music full time when I left Arkansas and moved to Los Angeles, CA. I was in a rock band called, Edgewater Angel. Now I’m pursuing my solo pop career with my amazing team, Drew Right Music.
What was it like recording your first song?
It was amazing! Being able to take what you have in your head and make it into something others can be inspired by is a truly special experience.
What’s your process for developing creative for music videos?
I believe it is so important to have a great team! My manager Andrew Lane has helped me come up with the ideas for the music videos. In my new single, I’m On Top We wanted to show how the exterior prospective doesn’t always match up with the interior one. Sometimes when you peel back the layers of a person there real demons show.
Any advice you’d give to somebody who wants to make music?
Hang in there! This industry isn’t easy and you have to believe in yourself and what you do and never let anyone tear you down. The most important thing you have is you mind and you have to keep it strong and stay positive.
