Filmed in just three days Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton is set for release on Disney + July 3rd. In an interesting turn of events, the Disney+ version is slightly censored from its Broadway version. See below, Miranda’s response when a fan tweeted him about the PG-13 rating for his musical:
The MPAA gave the film a PG-13 rating “for language and some suggestive material.” While the F word might be gone and few things that are “suggestive material”, it’ll make make for a fun, family adventure from home this July. Check out the trailer down below, in case if you already haven’t!
